Super Rugby week 12:Wins for Chiefs, Highlanders

The 2018 Super Rugby campaign reached match day 12 starting Friday 11th May with the likes of Chiefs, Highlanders and Sunwolves registering wins. 
Chiefs defeat stormers 15-9
Chiefs shutterd Stormers dreams after defeating them fifteen to nine in Newlands on sartuday.
Damian Willemse scored a penalty to put the Stormers ahead with three points. The Chiefs however took the five to three lead by the intervals coutersy of Anton Lienert-Brown’s try.
Willemse scored another penalty for the Stormers  to give them a six to five lead a short lived lead as sooner then Chiefs were awarded a penalty try after the Stormers  were guilty ofrepeatedly infringements,seeing the chiefs leading twelve to six. McKenzie earned the Chiefs three points to increase the margin to nine points however SP marais scored a penalty for the stormers to increase their points to nine. Nevertheless the chiefs held on to their fifteen to nine points victory till the end.
Bull thrash Sharks 39-33
Bulls earned a hard fought victory after defeating Sharks thirtynine to thirty three at Loftus Versfeld.
Warrick Gelant scored the first try which was succcessfully converted by Handre Pollard giving the Bulls a seven points lead. Jesse Kriel scored another try fo the bulls, completed by a conversion from Pollard giving the Bulls a fourteen points lead. Curwin Bosch from the Sharks side scored a try which was converted by R du  Preez  to bring the scores to fourteen to seven. However Roelof smit touched down for the Bulls as Pollard did his duties to add seven points for the Bulls. Johnny Kotze and Lood de jager scored a try each for the Bulls as Pollard added other points from one more cinversion and two penalties totalling to thirtynine points for Bulls. The sharks side had a response from jacques Vermeulen and J du Preez each with a try  and two more conversions and two penalties from R du preez and one mere penalty from Bosch.
Highlanders thrash Lions 39-27
Highlanders defeated Lions thirtynine to twentyseven in Dunedin on sartuday
Lima Sopaoga ,Liam Coltman, Luke Whitehalock ,Waisake Naholo and Teihorangi each scored a try to give Highlanders twentyfive points, Lima Sopoaga added eight more points for the Highlanders from four conversions and added six more points from two penalties. The Lions had Harold Vorster and Marnus Schoeman earning ten points for their teams each with a try as Robbie Coetze added the points to twenty with two tries. Eldon Jantjies added six more points from two conversions and another three points from a penalty.
Sunwolves demolish Reds 63-28
Sunwolves earned a big win on Sartuday at Tokyo after a long time of drought.
Grant Hatting and Hayden Parker earned ten points for the Sunwolves who later added seven more points from a penalty try Hosea Sumaki brought in fifteen more points to make the Sunwolves lead with thirtytwo points. Hayden Parker added twelve more points from six conversion and again twenty one points from seven conversions. Reds on their side had Paenga-Amosa ,Lucas,Scott young and Daugunu earning twenty points for their teams from a try by each.Parker added the eight points from four conversions totalling to twenty eight.
Crusaders hit Waratahs 31-29
Crusaders fought hard to earn a comeback win against Waraths at Christchurch on sartuday.
Codie Taylor,Joe Moody,Seta Tamanivalu and Braydon Ennor scored each a try to earn   twenty points for Crusaders whi later added the twenty to twenty seven from a penalty try. Richie Mo’unga later topped up after three successfull conversions. The Waratahs had Cam Clark ,Taqele Naiyaravoro, Israel Folau and Curtis Rona each scoring a try to earn twenty points for the Waratahs Bernad Foley added six more points from three conversion and three points from a penalty totalling to twentynine for Waratahs.
Rebels kick Brumbies 27-24
Rebels earned a slight victory over Brumbies in Canberra on Sartuday.
Brumbies had Tom Cusack, Faalelei Sione and Rob Valetini each scoring a try to earn Brumbies fifteen points. Wharenui Hawera added sic more points to make it twentyone from three conversions and then to twentyfour after scoring a penalty. Rebels responded by earning twenty straight points after Tom English scored two tries and ten more points from Jack Maddocks and Semisi Tupouscoring each a try, Reece Hodge added nine points six from two conversions and three from a penalty.
Blues succumb to Hurricanes 36-15
Hurricanes defeated Blues on Friday at Eden park.
Orbyn Leger and Ofa Tuungafasi scored each a try for Blues to earn ten points as Stephen Perofeta added five more points two from a conversion and three from a penalty. The Hurricanes had Ricky Riccitelli,Gareth Evans,Milner-Skudder, Sam Lousi and Matt Proctor each scoring a try ta earn twentyfive points for the Hurricanes. Beauden Barett earned eleven more points for the Hurricanes  eight from four conversions and three from a penalty totalling to thirty six.
