Nakuru RFC are lining up Kenya 7s duo of Oscar Ouma and Nelson Oyoo ahead of their home tournament, the Prinsloo 7s slated for September 23 at the Nakuru Athletic Club.
Nakuru had mixed fortunes in the opening two legs of the national sevens circuit as they reached the cup final at the Driftwood 7s in Mombasa before stumbling at Kabeberi 7s a week later where they only managed the Challenge trophy and Ocholla believes Ouma and Oyoo will be key if they are to impress the home crowd.
“We are looking forward to bringing the Kenya internationals at our home tournament because we have to put up a good perfomance..our aim is to give our home fans what they deserve and that is quality rugby,”Ocholla told Scrummage.
The former Strathmore Leos tactician further added that Oyoo and Ouma’s experience will really boost their chances at the Prinsloo 7s that is just two weeks away.
“There is Oscar Ouma and Nelson Oyoo who are currently with the national sevens team and we are working closely with the team to have them because their experience will be key to our success,”he concluded.
