KCB coach:This is the secret behind Shaban's form

KCB RFC head coach Dennis Mwanja believes that Shaban Ahmed’s form in the first two legs of the national sevens circuit is due to the player’s hunger to play having had little playtime during the 15s season.
Shaban was named the top points scorer at both the Driftwood 7s tournament in Mombasa as well as last weekend’s Kabeberi 7s tournament where he had to share the same award with Kabras’ man Philip Wokorach and Mwanja says the former Mwamba RFC player had a point to prove.
“Shaban has been hungry to play because he is one of those players who never had enough playtime during the 15s season and he definitely had a point to prove and i think he had a great tournament at Kabeberi,”Mwanja told Scrummage.
Ahmed will be hoping to replicate the same form in the remaining four legs of the national sevens circuit starting with the Prinsloo 7s slated for Nakuru on 23 September.
