Kabras:We must avoid playing catch up rugby

Kabras RFC head coach Charles Cardovillis says that Kabras must stop relying on making comebacks to claim wins in their matches if they are to register good results in the ongoing 7s circuit.
Kabras had to rally in two of their matches at last weekend’s Kabeberi 7s as they came from behind to beat Strathmore in a pool D match on day one as well as the quarter final duel against Nondies RFC on day two and Cardovillis strongly believes that they should be the ones on the front foot in each match.
“It is an improvement from Driftwood 7s perfomance even though we are not yet where we want to be.”
“The boys gave their best but on several occassions we had to come from behind and its an area i want to work on before the next tournament,”Cardovillis told Scrummage
“Playing catch up rugby against strong teams can be difficult at times.”
“If we can avoid playing catch up rugby and start strongly..then we can do well in the upcoming matches,”he concluded.
