Kabeberi:Nondies, Quins sneak into cup quarters

Nondies RFC managed to sneak into the cup quarters at the Kabeberi 7s despite falling 33-12 to Homeboyz in their final pool match.
Homeboyz got onto the scoreboard courtesy of Michael Wanjala’s brace as well as captain Jeffrey Oluoch’s touchdown.
Nondies scored through Peter Lugano who raced his way to the tryline in fantastic fashion.
Sportpesa Quins also booked a last eight slot after narrowly edging Nakuru RFC 12-0.
Quims ran in two tries and a single conversion as Nakuru found it difficult claiming a try.
Mwamba failed to claim a win at the pool stages after being forced to play out to a 12-all stalemate with Daystar Falcons.
KCB ensured that they cemented top spot in pool B, brushing aside Kisii 26-5 as Shaban Ahmed and Jacob Ojee all got their names onto the scoresheet.
Blak Blad managed to enhance their cup quarters chances after beating Catholic Monks 26-7.
Trailing 7-5 at the break,Blak Blad ran riot in the second half to add 3 more tries and stun Monks.
Strathmore Leos joined Homeboyz and Kabras RFC in the cup quarters after dismissing Makueni RFC 19-5 in their final pool D clash.
Impala Saracens had to dig deep to claim a hard fought 15-12 win against Oilers and sail to the cup quarters.
Kabras wound up their pool matches with a narrow 7-5 win courtesy of a try by Kenya 7s international Brian Tanga.
