Kabeberi:KCB hits Nakuru as Wokorach fires Kabras past Makueni

KCB began their campaign in pool C on a good note,brushing aside Driftwood finalists Nakuru RFC 29-5.
Shaban Ahmed touched down first after Jacob Ojee had done the spade work before offloading to him.
Shaban was soon at it again,claiming his brace to hand the bankers a 14-0 lead before they added a third, taking a 19-0 lead at halftime.
Nakuru soon reduced the deficit with try but KCB touched down twice to claim a 29-5 win.
In the second pool A clash, Kenya Cup side Nondies had to rally to force a 12-all draw against Daystar Falcons in a match which Nondies trailed at the break.

Quins got their campaign in pool B underway with a win after touching down 3 times to narrowly edge Kisii RFC 19-15.
Menengai Oilers underlined their cup credentials with an emphatic 36-7 mauling of Blak Blad in their opening pool C match.
Oilers ran in 6 tries with Daniel Abuonji converting successfully 3 times as Blad managed a single touchdown in the first half.

Seeking to bounce back from cup quarters exit at Driftwood,Impala Saracens ran riot hitting Catholic Monks 26-0.
The second pool C clash saw Stratmore Leos confront another university side Mean Machine with the former claiming a 19-10 win aided by Alex Olaba’s first half touchdown.
Ugandan International Philip Wokorach was in fine form as he fired Kabras past Makueni with the Charles Cardovillis-coached side winning 24-0.
Wokorach managed to go over the whitewash thrice as Makueni found it difficult leaving their own half.
