Mwamba boss explains Agevi,Atandi absence on final day of Driftwood

Mwamba RFC coach Kevin Wambua has revealed that Michael Agevi and Kevin Atandi missed the final matches of the Driftwood 7s due to knocks.
Speaking to the Scrummage,Wambua said that they did not field the duo on the second day in Mombasa as a precautionary measure as they did not want the injuries sustained on the first day to worsen.
“We are a bit dissappointed with the injuries that some of our players picked at Driftwood and we hope that they are not serious because we have to build as a unit going forward,”said Wambua.
“Kevin Atandi and our captain Agevi got injured but we kept him out on the second day just as a precaution because we did not want the injury to worsen,”he added.
