Homeboyz to introduce fresh legs at Kabeberi

Homeboyz RFC head coach Paul Murunga says that they intend to bring in fresh legs at this weekend’s Kabeberi sevens tournament after some of their key players picked up injuries at Driftwood sevens.

Speaking after leading the Deejays to cup glory in Mombasa, the tactician added that they intend to reach the Kabeberi sevens as well if not win it.

“We intend to reach the Kabeberi final,if not win it..We will have to bring in fresh legs, because most players are injured and also depending on how players have played this weekend so that we can continue perfoming well,”said Murunga.

“Our forward play will also be key as well as our defence because we can score a lot of tries and at the same time concede in equal measure, so we shall be looking towards bringing in other players at Kabeberi,”he added.

Having been top seeds at this weekend’s Kabeberi 7s,Homeboyz landed a fair pool A which also has Nondies, hosts Mwamba RFC and Daystar Falcons.
