Costly defeat? Kenya drops in world rankings

Saturday’s 43-34 loss to Hong Kong has proven costly to the Kenya Simbas as they have dropped two places according to the latest rankings.
In the rankings released by the world Rugby on Monday afternoon,the Simbas have dropped from their previously held 25th position to 27th globally with 56.21 points.
Kenya’s Saturday opponents, Hong Kong have risen massively from 24th to 22nd position with 60 points.
Also among the biggest fallers is Ireland who have dropped from 3rd to 4th position with 85.38 points.
Ireland’s place has been taken by the Springboks,who won away from home against Argentina over the weekend.
New Zealand remains the best ranked nation in the world with 95.21 points after narrowly edging the Wallabies 35-29 in the Bledisloe Cup second test in Dunedin on Saturday.
