Habimana explains massive changes in Simbas squad

The Simbas squad set to take on Hong Kong has witnessed a massive 17 changes from the one that featured in the Africa Gold Cup.
Among the changes that were rang,six players are set for their full international debuts and forwards coach Dominique Habimana revealed what informed their decision.
Speaking to Kenya Rugby on Friday 18 August 2017, the former Nakuru RFC coach said that they have the need to explore the team’s depth thus the decision to hand more players full international debuts.
“We are looking for exploring depth for this series.We have been training with a very large squad and we thank the CEO for making that possible.We want the boys to be handed tests here and there,”he said.
The players who will be making their full international debuts are Elkeans Musonye,James Kubasu,Emmanuel Mavala,Philip Ikambili,Alex Olaba and Brad Owako.
The match is slated for Sunday 20 August 2017 at 1500hrs at the RFUEA grounds in Nairobi.
