Impala forward keen to impress after being handed Simbas debut

Resolution Impala Saracens forward James Kubasu will be seeking to put his best foot forward when the Kenya 15s face Hong Kong.
The loose head prop was included in the Simbas starting squad set to do duty against Hong Kong on Sunday 20 August 2017.
Speaking to Impala Saracens, the Kenya School of Law student expressed his delight at the opportunity handed to him.
-Iam very grateful for this opportunity. I remember travelling all the way to Uganda & spending 80 minutes on the bench.
I was also included in the Nairobi leg of the Elgon Cup fixture but didn’t enjoy the best of play time. I missed out of the Kenya vs Tunisia, Senegal, Zimbabwe & Namibia matches but didn’t drop my head.

“Consistency in training is what I credit this start to. The onus is now upon me to prove to the technical bench that I am made of the right material.”He said.
Kubasu is set to partner Impala teammate Dennis Karani who will start at tight head as well as Homeboyz RFC’s Philip Ikambili who will be the matchday’s hooker.
The match is set to get underway at 1500hrs EAT at the RFUEA grounds.
