Uganda see off Zimbabwe to finish Gold Cup on a high

Uganda Cranes put up a fantastic display to beat Zimbabwe Sables 38-12 in a Rugby Africa Gold Cup clash at the Legends Rugby grounds in Kampala on Saturday August 5 2017.
Into the first 5 minutes of the match,both sides had already touched down as the visitors took the lead through Takudzwa Kumadiro before Justin Kimono touched down for Uganda to tie the scores.
Uganda then scored two converted tries to take a 19-5 lead before Kabras Rugby man Philip Wokorach touched down for the Cranes 4th try of the match as he converted to hand the cranes a 26-5 lead.
The Sables touched down late in the first half as Hilton Mudariki converted to ensure the score board read 26-12 in favour of the hosts at halftime.
In a second half that had little action Uganda touched down twice courtesy of Brian Asaba and Ssebuliba to claim a 38-12 win.
The win failed to propell the Cranes on the 2017 Africa Gold Cup log as they settled for 3rd position.
