Preview:Zimbabwe Sables vs Kenya Simbas

Kenya Simbas are set to take on the Zimbabwe Sables in Bulawayo on Saturday 22 July 2017 seeking to continue with their winning streak in the Africa Gold Cup.
The two sides have managed to meet 16 times with the Zimbabweans enjoying a better record against the Kenyans as they have managed to win on 11 occassions and loosing on 5 occassions.
The last meeting between the two sides was in 2016 where the Kenya Simbas demolished Zimbabwe 61-15 in Harare in a Rugby Afrique encounter.Zimbabwe are currently sitting on 4th position in the Africa Gold Cup standings having amassed 6 points while Kenya Simbas are in 2nd position with 12 points,two shy of leaders Namibia.
In their last match,Zimbabwe let slip a 20-3 halftime lead to go down 31-26 to hosts Namibia in Windhoek while Kenya saw off Senegal 45-25 in a match staged in Nairobi.
The Simbas boast of having the current Gold cup top scorer in Darwin Mukidza who has managed to amass 63 points heading into match day four.Zimbabwe on their side have Takudzwa Kumandiza as their top scorer with 20 points and they will be hoping that he is yet again in good form during Saturday’s encounter.
