Kabras swoops Nakuru and Quins dependable stars

Nakuru RFC flanker Mike Okombe and Kenya Harlequins back Kevin Keegan  have joined Kenya Cup and Enterprise Cup finalists Kabras RFC.
Scrummage understands that their move to Kabras is a done deal as they arrived in Kakamega on Wednesday 5 July 2017.

Okombe will now compete for the first slot with Fidel Oloo, Levi Ochieng, Zacharia Amatika and Dan Sikuta. Sikuta crossed over from Mwamba RFC to Kabras in 2016 . Keegan on the other hand will have a tough task of dethroning Uganda sensation Philip Wokarach and  Fijian Jone Kunu at the full back role.
The sugarmen are reportedly planning to swoop two more forwards from Nakuru in order to boost the squad for the new season.

Okombe’s exit from Nakuru is big blow to the side that is planning to rise from last season struggles under new head coach Mitch Ochollah who joined from Strathmore Leos after the 2017 15s season.
