Adhiambo named MVP as KRU Championship concludes

Western Force’s Grace Adhiambo was named the Most Valuable Player in the just concluded Kenya Rugby Union Women Franchise Championship.
The Championship was set in memory of Abedeen Shikhoyi a former Kenya Lioness Captain who died in 2012 . Black Lions, Western Force Mashinani, Thika Road Panthers participated and the Lions went on to win the championship.
The Black Lions also produced the top try scorer Sinaida Aura who scored 11 tries in three legs played at KCB Sports Club in Ruaraka, Nakuru Athletic Club and RFUEA Ground.
The winners also produced top points scorer with Phila Olando amassing 31 points in those legs.
