Uganda seeking to upset Senegal after Kenya Simbas draw

After conceding a last gasp penalty try to draw 33 all against the Kenya Simbas at the RFUEA grounds in Nairobi,Uganda Cranes have now shifted focus to their second Africa Gold Cup match against Senegal in Dakar.
Uganda will be seeking to beat Senegal whom they have a better head to head record against having beaten them in the 2015 Rugby Africa tier 1B held in Kampala.
Cranes captain Brian Odong expressed optimism ahead of the encounter saying that they had to prioritise the away games first.
“We have three home games but we have to deal with the ones away first. This weekend I hope we can find our rhythm and win to give ourselves a good chance,” the skipper was quoted by Kawowo sports.
Uganda will be buoyed by the fact that Senegal lost their opening encounter after going down 28-16 to Zimbabwe.
