Uganda coach lauds charges commitment against Kenya

Uganda Cranes head coach John Duncan is impressed with the commitment shown by his team during a 33-33 draw with Kenya in opener of the Africa Gold Cup.
History favoured the Simbas coming to the match but Cranes ensured a share of spoils at RFUEA Grounds after a 23-18 loss in Kampala.
Duncan has lauded the  fight from his charges especially during the final half which saw them come from behind to lead before kenya got a penalty try at the end.
“Generally I am happy with the performance and the commitment by the players to come back in the second half and put up an impressive performance, ” the coach told Kawowo.
The coach also revealed that they are reviewing the video of the clash and they will work on the mistakes before the Senegal match.
“We are having a look at the video of the game we played against Kenya so as to work on some errors” he added.
Despite the draw Kenya retain the Elgon Cup title.
