Uganda coach expecting a close contest

Uganda Cranes head coach John Duncan is expecting their Africa Gold Cup clash against Kenya Simbas set for the RFUEA grounds in Nairobi on Saturday to be a closely fought contest.
Speaking to KRU two days to the match, the South African said that it will be a tough match considering that it brings together two neighbouring countries with long history between them.
“I think it is going to be a tight affair.Any contest, any derby between two neighbours is always going to be a tough game. Both teams will go full out to win the game,”said Duncan.
The tactician further admitted that Kenya are favourites in Saturday’s game and he expects them to come firing from all cylinders.
“Kenya being favourites, they will come out firing at us but we expect to meet them. This being an Africa Gold Cup match, all teams will be hoping to get maximum points,”the tactician concluded.
The match will also serve as the second leg of the Elgon cup in which the Kenya Simbas claimed a 23-18 win in Kampala in the first leg two weeks ago.
