Preview:Kenya Simbas vs Uganda Cranes

Kenya Simba 15s will be hoping to finish the job against Uganda Cranes as they face off at RFUEA Grounds on Saturday 24 June.
The match will be the final leg of the Elgon Cup and first round of the African Gold Cup. Kenya won the first leg of the Elgon Cup 23-18 with Darwin Mukidza scoring curial points from penalties. Kenya has won nine Elgon titles while Uganda has just four.
Uganda has won in Kenya only on two occasions since 2005. They beat Kenya 22-20 in 2006 before registering another narrow win of 17-16 in 2013.
Cranes last visit to Kenya saw them fall 45-24 it was after a 20-17 and 34-0 loss in the 2015 and 2014 respectively.

The Simba have won the Africa Cup twice. The first title came in 2011 when they beat Tunisia 16-7. The second triumph was in 2013 where they overpowered Zimbabwe in the finals for a 29-17 win.
The round robin format was introduced in 2014 and Namibia have dominated the competition, winning the last three in a row while Kenya finished second last year.
Jerome Paarwaters charges will once again  miss the services of skipper Wilson Kopondo. The Kenya Harlequins lock will stay out again due to the injury picked in a test match against Germany.
Fly half Biko Adema will also miss the tie due to work commitments. Isaac Adimo and Joshua Chisanga have been included in the starting squad while Brad Owako and Steve Otieno are set to debut for Kenya.
Uganda Cranes
The Cranes finished third in the 2016 Africa Cup. They picked  just one win in their three fixture hence collecting just seven points from three matches.
In the 2015 and 2014 edition, they played in the Division B after being relegated in 2013.
Mathias Ochwo has been recalled to the starting line up after missing the first clash against Kenya. Cranes are still in search of their first win of the 15s season.
