Uganda coach confident of upsetting Kenya Simbas

Uganda Cranes assistant coach Robert Sseguya has expressed optimism ahead of their Africa Gold Cup clash against Kenya Simbas slated for Nairobi on Saturday 24th June 2017.
Sseguya believes that the cranes stand a chance of upsetting the home crowd at the RFUEA grounds only if they remain composed and rectify on their major undoings in the first leg in Kampala where they went down to the Simbas 23-18.
“From what i saw in the first leg,we can go to Kenya and get that win if we remain composed and make the right decisions because we have what it takes,”Said Sseguya.
He further went ahead to say that they would not have lost the match in Kampala if it were not for their disallowed dropkick and the four penalties that his kickers failed to convert.
“We lost by five points here yet we had a disallowed dropgoal and four missed penalties which tallies up to 15 points.Fatigue caught up with the players last year as they had just come from a gruelling game in Zimbabwe but they have now rested for two weeks,”He concluded.
The Uganda Cranes clash against the Kenya Simbas will also double up as the second leg clash of the Elgon Cup where the Kenyans enjoy a slender five point advantage.
