Kenya-Uganda clash to be officiated Top 14 referee

Laurent Cardona has been handed the centre referee role of the Saturday’s Rugby Africa Gold Cup clash between Kenya and Uganda at the RFUEA Grounds.
The former Omnisport Club Saint Fons player will work with Zimbabwean Tinashe Kamwenje and Madagascar’s Stephane Rakotonirainy as his assistants.

Cardona who is 39 years old officiates in the French Top 14 and has also officiated in the European Cup and European Championship of the Nations for the last four season.
The match will double as the Elgon Cup return leg. Kenya won the the first leg played in Uganda 23-18 and will be seeking to seal the win and start Gold Cup campaign strongly.
