Why KCB coach was handed 7 month ban

Earlier on Thursday 15th June 2017,it was revealed that KCB rugby head coach Curtis Olago had been banned for 30 weeks with effect from 6th June after the completion of a Judicial process which was led by judicial officer Willy Ombisi.
According to the verdict passed by Mr Ombisi,the multiple title winning head coach was found guilty of attacking match official and Kenya Rugby Referee Society Chairman Karimi Mwangi back in 2016.
The process led by Mr Ombisi reads in part,“pursuant to R20.10.1(c), the Person is suspended from all Rugby activity for a period of 30 weeks, effective from the date of this decision (6 June, 2017).
Meanwhile,newly promoted Kenya Cup side Resolution Kisii suffered a huge blow after their player Abel Mong’eni was slapped with a lengthy 34 week ban which dates back to the 18th of April.Mong’eni found himself on the wrong side of the law when he attacked referee David Ng’etich in his team’s 6-3 win over USIU that saw them gain top flight status.
Thika RFC were also banned from using their home ground for 12 weeks following an incident where a match official was attacked back in March during a KRU championship encounter.
