Ladies action to curtain raise Kenya-Uganda tie

The final round of the KRU women’s 15-aside franchise tournament is set to curtain raise the second leg of the Elgon Cup clash which will see hosts Kenya Simbas take on Uganda Cranes at the RFUEA grounds on 24th June 2017.
The Kenya Rugby Union confirmed that the matches will be played in a round robin format with each match lasting 40 minutes.After Ngong hitters pulled out,only 3 teams will be taking part.The three are Western Force which is a franchise of Kabras and Nakuru RFC,Thika road panthers and the Black Lions.
The Black Lions were the most successful side in the second round held at the Nakuru Athletics club a few weeks ago as they managed to win all their matches in convincing fashion aided by star player Philadelphia Orlando.
