Kenya Cup side held in Arusha in test match

Kenya Cup side Nondies RFC played out to a 17 all draw against Rhino RFC in a test match played in Tanzania.
Despite the Kenyans fielding an inexperienced second string squad, Rhino could not get past them.
The main aim of the match according to Nondies RFC was to provide experience to the young squad as well as to monitor some of the upcoming stars in the second side.
Players like fullback Phares Mbadi, winger Brian Amaitsa, scrumhalf Edwin Mwaseru we’re all part of the contingent to Arusha after putting up stellar performances in last season’s Eric Shirley Shield.
Simbas trialist Benjamin Marshall was also involved after he failed to make it to the squad for the Elgon cup tie.
