Chisanga speaks on his Simbas return, confident of Elgon Cup triumph

When Kenya Simbas take to the Legends Rugby club on Saturday evening to take on Uganda cranes in an Elgon cup first leg clash, Joshua Chisanga will be making a return to Jerome Paarwater’s squad; albeit starting from the bench.
The Newcastle Falcons back is yet to feature for Kenya Simbas since 2015 and is set to make a return against familiar foes Uganda Cranes.
Speaking to the KRU,Chisanga who was voted man of the match when the Simbas beat Spain in Nairobi two years ago said that he is excited to be back in the national team colours.
“It is always a pleasure and a feeling that yo can’t explain.I was disappointed to have missed last year but it feels good to be back.Everytime i play i leave everything on the pitch so you should expect that from me,” the former Homeboyz Rugby man said.
On the Elgon Cup first leg clash against bitter rivals Uganda cranes,”Reign” as he is reffered to by many said that the Simbas will triumph in the two-legged encounter and deliver the trophy to their fans.
“It is a derby and they have to know who the boss of East Africa is and that is us here.We plan to take the trophy before the end of the first leg,” he concluded.
The match pitting hosts Uganda Cranes against Kenya Simba is set to kick off at 1600hrs EAT later on today.
