Speaking to club after completing the long awaited move to the club, Ambaka revealed that he is keen to impress with his ultimate goal being play in the super rugby.
“Super Rugby is definitely the goal, but I’m just really looking forward to putting in some good performances for the Turbos,” he told Turbos official portal.
“I’m most comfortable on the right wing, but I’m looking at this as a learning experience. It’s always good to have a change of environment, he added.
Ambaka move to the club was delayed due to visa issues. He is expected to debut this Saturday against Freyberg.
The winger scored six tries as Lyon won a promotion to Top 14 in France in 2013-14 and then featured for Western Province in Currie Cup.
