Ndong attributes lack of 'discipline' to their narrow loss to Kabras

Resolution  Impala Saracens head coach, Frank Ndong has lamented on the mistakes that led to their narrow loss of 16-15 in the semi final of the Enterprise Cup against Kabras at the Kakamega showground.
Ndong said that though his boys dominated the line out and the scrums, they didn’t take advantage of the possession that saw the Sugar men ‘punish’ them.
“We totally dominated the line outs and scrums.I think discipline is the only area we faulted in and sadly Kabras punished us.We had situations from which we should have harvested points. The final missed kicks in the final minute of the match are not the only opportunities we should have bottled”, Ndong told Impala official site.
Brilliant performance
He is however happy with the performance of the young players who participated in the match , as six of main players are away for the Kenya 15’s camp in South Africa.
“Remember we have 6 core players in the Kenya 15’s Kabras have only 1.We also played without 5 more players who contributed to the win against Quins last weekend. We haven’t seen this amount of depth at Impala for ages. The future is indeed bright”, said Ndong.
Impala now focus on the National 7s Series.
