KCB outwits Homeboyz to book a date with Kabras

Enterprise cup defending champions KCB dream of winning a double was kept alive after a narrow 11-9 win over Homeboyz in semi final played at KCB Sports club.
Former Western Bulls fly half Evin Asena scored the opening penalty to put Homeboyz in the lead but Ahmed Shaban equalized for the Lions.

The scoreline of the match remained tied at 3-3 as  the tight clash headed for the halftime break.
In the second half KCB managed to break Homeboyz defence and  touched down the first try of the game through James Kilonzo.
Asena managed to cut the lead with two penalties but Shaban’s penalty saw the Kenya Cup champions reach the final for the fourth time in a row.
They will face Kabras in a repeat of the 2016 final where KCB beat the Kakamega based side 24-12 to win the cup for the second time in a row.
