False start for Shujaa in London

Sammy Oliech missed a late conversion as kenya 7s narrowly lost to South Africa’s Blitzboks by 12 points to 10 in their opening match of the London7s at the twickenham stadium.
Kenya started the match on a high note taking  an early lead courtesy of Billy ‘the kid’ Odhiambo after the South Africans had been reduced to 6 men.However ,the resultant conversion  went wide.
The Blitzboks hit back a few moments later ensuring that the match went into the break tied at 5 all.
On resumption,Kenya’s captain Andrew Amonde was sin binned for committing a foul and the South African’s used the numerical advantage to take the match to 12-5 in their favour.
Nelson Oyoo scored a try for Kenya in the final minutes of the match but Sammy Oliech missed the all important conversion kick that would have tied the scores.Shujaa next face USA at 4:04pm East African time.
