Kidero pledges his support to Mwamba rugby

Governor Evans Kidero has vowed to continue supporting Kenya cup side Mwamba FC.
Speaking when the team led by their club president paid him a visit, he said that he started supporting the team when Mumias Sugar Company gave sponsorship to the club.
“My relationship with Mwamba started way back when Mumias Sugar started supporting the club and it has grown during  my time at City Hall.I will continue supporting the club and rugby”, Kidero was quoted by Mwamba rugby.

He also thanked Humphrey Kayange and Collins Injera  for flying the Kenya flag high while representing Kenya 7s rugby team in the world sevens series.
“When you travel around the world and you introduce yourself that you are from Kenya people will immediately ask you about athletics and lately about rugby sevens”, he said.
The club delegation was led by the club president Mr.Alvas Onguru and chairman Mr George Mbaye.
The players were represented by head coach Kevin Wamba, team manager Edwin Waita and captain Salton Muturi. The others were Humphrey Kayange, Collins Injera, Paul Mukia, George Mutuku, Patrick Rihiu and Louis Kisia.
