Ugandan side Impis Rugby Club is mourning the death of “Utility future star” Graham Mubanda.
Mubanda, 22, was yet to make an appearance for the side, having just completed a switch to the Kampala-based side weeks ago, and was awaiting his debut at the start of the 2021 season on Saturday 6.
Acording to a social media post, Mubanda died after a night attack by robbers on Thursday March 4.
“Death has robbed us of a future star. We have lost Graham “Bandalle” Mubanda after he suffered an attack from thieves the in Kikoni last night. Graham had joined us as a center/ lock for this season. May his soul rest in peace,” reads the post from Impis Rugby.
