The Russias began the clash on a strong note with Elen Zdrokova giving her side an early by scoring at the right corner. She added another try at the left corner for a 12-0 lead for the Russians.
Kenya’s first attempt to go forward was cut short with their opponents stealing an offload and Zdrokova was set up to complete her hattrick by scoring at the centre. With the conversion being in a promising angle, the side extended the lead to 19-0 heading to the break.
In the second half, the Russians picked from where they left forcing Kenya to defend more and they scored the fourth try at the centre and converted.
Victoria Em would stretch their lead to 31-0 after a beautiful support play with her teammate. The side moved to 36-0 after a try at the right corner which was allowed to stand after TMO review.
VVA-Moscow region’s Marina Kukina would ensure a big win for the Russian as she crossed over after the hooter to hand her side a 41-0 lead. They added a conversion for a 43-0 win.
Kenya Lionesses will be back in action for a clash against USA.
