Kenya Cup side Kabras RFC have settled on Kenyan International Dan Sikuta as the new Captain for the 2021 season.
The Kenya 7s star will have Lawrence Buyachi, Brian Tanga and Ntabeni Dukisa as part of his leadership team. Sikuta is expected to lead the side out for the first time on Saturday as Kabras face Kenya Harlequins at Nyayo Stadium in the Charity Cup.
The former Mwamba man replaces former Kenyan International Max Adaka who captained the side to 2016 Kenya Cup title and the 2019 Enterprise Cup.

Speaking on his new role, Sikuta said: Am excited to be appointed the new Kabras Captain. It is a challenging role to hold. Being in a leadership position as a player, I will work closely with the outgoing captain and other players to achieve our common goal,” he told Scrummage.
The former St Joseph Kitale Alumnus is hoping to deliver the first silverware on Saturday as Kabras face Kenya Harlequins in the Charity Cup. He believes winning the Charity Cup will be the best way to start off the season.

“We are going for the Kenya Cup title but the first target is to win the Charity Cup this weekend against Kenya Harlequins. If we win the Cup, it will boost our morale heading into the new season,” Sikuta added.
“The players are excited to return to action after a long break and they are ready to fight for the glory,” he concluded.
Kabras will start off the Kenya Cup season campaign with a home match against neighbours MMUST.
