Uganda Rugby 7s are on a seven-day training camp in Kapchorwa in Eastern Uganda in preparation for the Tokyo Olympics Repechage Tournament.
The 2019 African Men’s 7s finalists kicked off their camp on 3 January and it is set to run till 10 January after which they will return to Kampala. They are having three sessions a day which include gameplay and hill-running in the high altitude region.
Kapchorwa was chosen due to its high altitudes. Uganda finished second in the Olympic Qualifiers following a 31-0 loss to Kenya 7s and have a final chance to battle for a ticket to the Olympics in mid 2021.
Sometimes you have to take a break and enjoy all that you've achieved so far.
