Acholi Quarters Rugby Academy received a boost on Tuesday after Uganda International and ASBC Rugby Club star Philip Wokorach donated balls to the side.
Wokorach who is back to his country from France visited the Acholi based Academy in Kampala where donated ball and snacks to the kids.
“Today we were so glad to host the French & Ug finest, Wokorach Philip at the #AQRA.On his courtesy visit he made a kind donation of Rugby balls & some snacks for all Teams. Thanks for the visit #PW15,” reads a statement by Acholi Quarters Academy.

The Academy was set up by Joseph Oyet, Trevor Ochan, Saddam Geoffrey and Akena Francis. It has previously received donations from Cork Tag Rugby.
Wokorach, a former Kabras back is one of the Ugandan international who are beneficiaries of tag rugby.
The Utility back has been involved in several activities in 2020 which includes donation of masks to Premiership Clubs and recently partnered with Remnants Generation for the campaign to ensure that children are safe from sexual abuse.
The campaign which targets victims of child sexual abuse and tries to provide them with the right social, health, moral, and emotional support.
Beside creating awareness, the campaign has been collecting donations to provide basic necessities for The Remnants Generation shelter located in Busega.
