Kenya Harlequins are set to complete the signing of Kenya Simbas duo Joshua Chisanga and Emmanuel Mavala fromĀ Homeboyz.
According to the Club’s chairman Michael Wanjala, they are working to seal their deals by the first week of November. The two rejoined Homeboyz late in 2019 after a stint in Poland with RC Orkan Sochaczew and helped Homeboyz to a third-place finish.
“We haven’t completed the transfer process but they should be joining us. We hope to finalize their moves next week,” the Chairman told the Scrummage.

Kenya Simbas hooker Philip Ikambili who was not much involved in the 2019/20 season is also on the list of the players set to make moves to the Ngong Road-based side.
“Philip Ikambili, formerly Homeboyz is also expected to join us. We are looking to sign two or three more players from the Championship side but we will confirm the names once they sign,” he stated.
According to the Chairman, their 2019/20 squad is still intact after the first 27 days of the transfer window. The side is also hoping for a better season in terms of finances.
“We haven’t received requests from anyone indicating they want to leave so the squad is still intact,” he noted.
“With COVID-19, things have been slow but we expect a better season in terms of finances than last season. Our performance will also determine how much sponsorship we can attract,” he concluded.
