All Blacks winger ruled out of action due to chest injury

All Blacks winger George Bridge is scheduled to miss the remainder of the 2020 campaign following a chest injury.

According to All Blacks, the winger is set to stay on the sidelines for six months having picked the injury in their training sessions on Wednesday. He is set for further assessments by the medical team.

“All Blacks winger George Bridge will be out of rugby for up to six months after suffering a chest injury in-field training yesterday. He’ll be assessed over the next 48 hours to determine the next course of action,” reads a statement by All Blacks.

He joins Braydon Ennor who has been ruled out of the remainder of the 2020 campaign after he ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during the Steinlager North v South match played in September and needed surgery.

He was ruled out of rugby for up to nine months and the side had to call in Ngani Laumape and Peter Umaga-Jensen to fill his gap.
