Former Mwamba Rugby Club forward Peter Miano has been appointed as the Kenya Rugby League Federation Head of Sales and Customer Care.
His role will be to manage all sales operations for the federation, examine the growth opportunities and help scale revenue at KRLF. Miano who is currently working at Safaricom also played for Oryx and he is the founder member of Safaricom Rugby Team.
Speaking on his appointment, Miano vowed to establish partnerships with key customers for KRLF.
“I’m excited to be part of this amazing team, looking forward to working with stakeholders to make Kenya Rugby League a global Brand. I will endeavour to establish and foster partnership and relationships with key customers both internally and externally,” he stated.

KRLF commercial and special projects Director Charles Cardovillis said: “It is an absolute steal to have Miano on board. He comes with invaluable experience which will go a long way in helping the federation meet its sales targets and at the same time keeping our customers happy.”
Previous appointments saw Edward Rombo take the Head Coach role, Benjamin Ayimba Technical Director, John Mbai Director Growth and development and Lucas Onyango the International development manager.
The KRLF Board has Sammy Githinji, Kevin Adhere, Amer Mwatsahu, Joel Nganga and Eric Murungi as members.
