Siya Kolisi to deliver foodstuffs to rugby support for three months

Springboks Captain Siya Kolisi through his foundation Kolisi Foundation will deliver food parcels to 50 Grounds persons and kitchen staff at  Stormers for the next three months.

The World Cup winner says he chose to deliver the food parcels to the group that works hard to ensure they are comfortable on the pitch. Kolisi foundation was launched by Siya and his wife Rachel Kolisi, with its vision being to change the narrative of inequality for people in vulnerable and disadvantaged communities.

“Rugby is on pause but not for everyone. We are so grateful we can give back to the unsung heroes. The people who do all the hard work, so we can play rugby without any problems. For the next 3 months, Kolisi Foundation will supply 50 ground and kitchen staff with food parcels,” he posted on twitter.

Kolisi’s initiative comes after the Springboks’ #StrongerTogether for R32-12 fundraising campaign which finished on a high note with over an R1 million being raised.
