Sam Whitelock to make 150th appearance for Crusaders against Chiefs

Crusaders have revealed their squad that will be in action against Chiefs in Hamilton on Saturday.

Sam Whitelock will be making his 150th appearance for the Crusaders having made his first appearance for the side in 2010. Whitelock will auction his 150th commemorative game jersey to raise funds for a rural well-being group.

Whitelock will be in the second row alongside Mitchell Dunshea.  Prop George Bower has been called in to fill Joe Moody’s gap and he will start in the frontrow together with Codie Taylor and Michael Alaalatoa.

Sione Havili has been handed a start on the left flank while Wheto Douglas will not be in the back-row this weekend.  Mitchell Drummond starts at nine ahead of Bryn Hall.

Replacements: 16 Andrew Makalio, 17 Isi Tu’ungafasi, 18 Oliver Jager, 19 Quinten Strange, 20 Billy Harmon, 21 Bryn Hall, 22 Brett Cameron, 23 Leicester Fainga’anuku.
