Nairobi Nationwide side Administration Police Warriors are the latest to receive affiliation to the Kenya Rugby Union.
The Utawala based side has now become a full member of the union having complied with the regulations and the Sports Act. They will now be able to vote for the Union’s office bearers and take part in other KRU activities.
“Given the strong support from other affiliates and certainly having have watched AP Warriors grow from strength and strength in the last three years, I am happy to welcome them to the family,” KRU Chairman Oduor Gangla said in the KRU AGM held on Wednesday.
AP were proposed by Catholic Monks and were seconded by Kabras Masaku, Mbale, Shepherds and Homeboyz.
Meru, Chuka Vikings, Citam Kisumu and Vihiga Granites will have to wait longer to be affiliate after their attempt failed.
AP join the likes of Ngong RFC, Kitale RFC, South Coast Pirates and Embu RFC who became affiliates in the recent years.
