Crusaders will spend another week on top of the Super Rugby Aotearoa standings despite suffering a narrow home loss to Hurricanes last weekend.
Their first home loss in four years saw them pick one losing bonus point to stay top with 19 points in five matches.
Blues also maintain the second spot on the log. Their win against Chiefs saw them bounce back to winning ways and cut the gap between them and leaders to two points.
Hurricanes four match-winning run has earned them 16 points and they now sit three points behind leaders Crusaders. Highlanders stay on 10 points having rested last weekend.
Chiefs remain at the bottom of the log with five points having lost all their matches.
Week eight will see Hurricanes rest as Highlanders return to action to play Blues at the Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin on Sunday 2 August. On Saturday Chiefs will host Crusaders at the FMG Stadium as the hunt for the first win of the competition continues.
