Kenya Cup side Kabras Rugby have settled on Former Zimbabwe Sables player Mzingaye Nyathi as the new Head coach.
Nation Sport reports that the tactician will replace Henley du Plessis who confirmed leaving the Kakamega based Club this week.
The new coach told the outlet that he is ready for the task ahead and he is looking forward to taking over the 2016 Kenya Cup Champions.
“Kenya rugby is attritional and physical in its nature and that is what I expect to see. There are also possibilities in the approaches to that which I will explore with Kabras Sugar. I am told there is a lot of beauty in Kenya as well. I am looking forward to it.” Nyathi told Nation Sport.
Nyathi task will be to maintain the standards set by Du Plessis. Du Plessis only suffered three losses in the 34 matches he led the side. He led Kabras to top the Kenya Cup standings two times in a row, this being their first time in history.
He guided the side to another Kenya Cup final appearance and delivered the first-ever Enterprise Cup.
