Crusaders tactician Scott Robinson has named an unchanged match-day squad for their second match of the Super Rugby Aotearoa against Chiefs scheduled for Sunday at Orangetheory Stadium on Sunday 6:35 AM EAT.
With Scott Barrett ruled out for the remainder of the season, All Blacks hooker Codie Taylor will continue to captain the side. Taylor will play alongside Joe Moody and Michael Alaalatoa in the front-row.
Samuel Whitelock and Mitchell Dunshea are the locks and they are joined by back-rowers Cullen Grace, Billy Harmon and Whetu Douglas.
Bryn Hall and Richie Mo’unga are at scrum-half and fly-half respectively. Jack Goodhue and Braydon Ennor are in the midfield while George Bridge, Sevu Reece and Will Jordan complete the starting squad.
Robertson says: “We know the nature of the competition, it is a sprint, it’s short, sharp.”
“It’s really important to get off to a good start and that’s what we’ve done with the team that played well last week and [we’ve] rewarded them.”
