KCB’s forward Oliver Mang’eni has recovered from an injury he suffered on the final day of the regular season, the club has confirmed.
The lock was forced off the pitch after fracturing his index finger’s metacarpal as KCB went on to draw 22-22 with Homeboyz at Jamhuri Grounds two months ago. He has been nursing the injury in the period and he is expected to return to action once the COVID-19 situation is contained.
“Oliver “Olishe Pamba” Mang’eni @oliver_kizito is back from Injury. Olishe suffered a fractured metacarpal of the index finger in the game against Homeboyz RFC before the rugby break. Welcome back Lineout General. STEDE,” the bankers stated.
KCB finished second in the regular with 71 points three behind league leaders Kabras. They were scheduled to face the winner of the Kenya Cup clash pitting Homeboyz and Menengai Oilers.
