Kisumu County Secondary School Games kicked off on Thursday 5 March with both the 7s and 15s matches taking place at Maseno School.
The 7s matches will enter the quarter-final stage on Friday. Title Holders Nyabondo have booked a slot in the first quarter where they will face Kisumu day.
Former Champions and last year’s finalists Maseno School have a date against Chemelil in the second quarterfinal clash. Onjiko will tackle Ngere in the third quarter while the final quarter will have Thurdibuoro facing Kisumu Boys.
In the 15s category, defending Champions Maseno put 63 Points Chemelil while Nyabondo beat Onjiko 16-0. Magwar handed Chemelil 30-0 while Nyabondo bounced back to winning way ways 12-0 win against Obede.
The pool stage matches will conclude on Friday.
