Pools for the Kisumu County Schools Rugby 7s and 15s games have been released ahead of the matches slated for Maseno School on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 March 2020.
13 teams will participate in the shorter version of the game. Defending Champions Nyabondo who beat Maseno 14-12 to win the 7s title 12 months ago have been pooled together with Otieno Oyoo and Chemelil in Pool A. Last year’s finalists and hosts Maseno have been grouped alongside Miwani and Kisumu Day.
Onjiko, Kisumu Boys and Dr. A Gumbi are in Pool C. The final pool consists of Thurdiburo, Nyamasaria, Ngere, St Gabriel.
15s Rugby
Seven teams will feature in the rugby 15s games with Title Holders Maseno set to battle with Chemelil, Dr. A Gumbi and Magwar Model. Last year’s finalists Nyabondo are in Pool B together with Onjiko and Obede.
