KCB II and Kabras II fine run in the Eric Shirley Shield continued as they beat Oilers and Nondies to remain in the top two positions.
Kabras beat Nondies 31-0 in a 12 PM kickoff match staged at the Bull Ring. Bede Enonda scored a hattrick in the win. Kabras had 12 points in the first half and scored 19 more in closing half to win the assignment. Homeboyz also picked 31-18 win over Western Bulls in another 12 PM kick-off clash.
The defending Champions KCB unbeaten run in the ESS continued as they beat Menengai Oilers 44-13 for the 14th win of the campaign. The bankers scored 15 points in the opening half to lead 15-6 at halftime. 29 more points in the closing half saw KCB win, Oilers scored a converted try in the half for 13 points.
At Railways Club, Impala staged a comeback to beat Mwamba 28-23. Alviko Luvai had scored the opening converted try while Biko Masiva added a penalty for a 10-0 lead. Impala, on the other hand, responded with two converted tries to lead 14-10.
Another penalty by Masiva saw Mwamba come close but Impala scored a converted try to stretch the lead to 21-13 at halftime. Meshack Obota came off the bench to add another try for Mwamba but the fourth converted try for Impala gave them maximum points.
