Kenya 7s squad for the fifth and sixth rounds of the World 7s Series has been announced ahead of the tournaments slated for 29-1 in Los Angeles and Vancouver.
Technical director Paul Feeney has made five changes to the squad bringing in Oscar Ouma and Sammy Oliech who will be making the first appearance since the 2017/18 season.
Jacob Ojee, Daniel Sikuta and Oscar Dennis are also back after missing the Hamilton and Sydney 7s trip. Bush Mwale, Geoffrey Okwach, Herman Humwa, Johnstone Olindi and Nelson Oyoo are the players that have paved way.
Andrew Amonde will keep his place as captain of the team while Collins Injera, Jeffrey Oluoch, Alvin Otieno, Willy Ambaka, Daniel Taabu and Billy Odhiambo have kept their slots in the team.
Shujaa have 26 points and they sit 11th on the log ahead of the Los Angeles 7s scheduled for USA.
Shujaa picked four points in Dubai, 11 in Cape Town, 10 in Hamilton and a point in Sydney. Feeney coached side has scored 263 points which leave them 13th on the scoring charts. Their points emanate from 43 tries and 24 conversions.
Kenya 7s are in Pool B and they will be facing off with South Africa for the third time in the Pool stages and for the fourth time season. Shujaa will also tackle Ireland- for the second time after meeting in Cape Town while the fourth team in the Pool will be Canada.
