Impala boss Mitch Ocholla has pointed at numerous mistakes as what denied his side victory against Blak Blad at Kenyatta University grounds over the weekend.
The side suffered an expected 20-17 loss on Saturday and Ocholla feels they had many mistakes which led to many stoppages and gave Blad a chance to get points.
“Too many mistakes in the first half whistle after whistle gave Kenyatta University the advantage to get points,” Ocholla told the Scrummage.
He further said decision making was another factor that pulled them back, reiterating the words of Impala captain Dancan Ekasi who said they made the wrong decisions in the wrong time.
” There were times we needed to take points we did not, in the first half we had them, unfortunately, we cracked due to pressure,” Ekasi said.
The Ngong roadside got their tries through Alvin Marube, halfback Samson Onsomu and George Okowa in the loss. Impala now lie fourth in the league standings with 41 points.
Impala now shifts its attention to the Mwamba and Enterprise cups where they face Mean machine in the enterprise competition and Swara in the Mwamba cup competition.
